'''Omnicoin (OMC)''' was Hack Forums' official Crypto Currency. It was named after [[Omniscient]], founder of Hack Forums. This project was originally created by a Hack Forums member as an unofficial project. As it went on, it gained popularity and support from the community. Soon, Omnicoin was recognized as Hack Forums' official crypto-currency. The Omnicoin binaries/source code was released in April 2014.

==End of Life==

On 18th November 2015, Omniscient [http://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5062743 officially announced] stating that he and the Omnicoin Team have stopped supporting Omnicoin in light of recent circumstances revolving around Omnicoin.

==Award==
Omnicoin was made into an obtainable award on April 6th, 2014 and is now an unobtainable award in light of Omnicoin's end of life announcement. It was able to be obtained with a $25 donation in the form of Omnicoin and was one of the five cryptocoins you could donate with.

The Award was issued to several members for assisting in getting the project up and running and helping the project in other ways. The following award list shows those special award grants. The award has been issued many times to members who have donated the $25 amount in Omnicoin and received the award with the reason "OMC to the Moon!".
